Giggleswick School Chapel
Giggleswick School Chapel: Designed by architect T.G. Jackson, this magnificent Grade II* listed chapel was completed in 1901 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It incorporates an unusual copper dome and a richly decorated interior with mosaics, sgraffito, painted glass by Burlison and Grylls, bronze figures by George Frampton ARA and an organ by Henry Willis and Son. Extensively restored between 1995 and 2001 it is well worth a visit.
Service times: This is a private chapel and services are not normally open to members of the public, with the exception of the annual carol service.
